Mr. Oluwafolajimi Adesanya
Folajimi Adesanya is a Medical Doctor in training and a Policy Enthusiast. He has over two years of experience in Mentorship, Campus Journalism, Student Leadership, Volunteering and Libertarian Movement. He is an elected senator under the aegis of the University of Ibadan Medical Students’ Association (UIMSA) representing the fourth year class. He is a Fellow of the President Barack Obama’s Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI). He is a Local Campus Coordinator for the African Students for Liberty (ASFL) Movement, for which he promotes libertarian principles of freedom of speech, choice and autonomy on the University of Ibadan Campus. He is a member of the Nigerian Red Cross Society – University College Hospital (UCH) Detachment for which he undertakes humanitarian exercises involving provision of emergency medical care. He is the Venue Manager for the Organising Committee of the 32nd Federation of African Medical Students’ Association (FAMSA) General Assembly & Scientific Conference. He is an unapologetic optimist who believes in the potential of young Nigerians like himself in being catalysts of positive transformation in the African society. Through The Panacea Project, Folajimi believes Nigeria and indeed Africa will move from third-world to first world status. His interests are in: Journalism, Writing, Reading and Traditional African Music.
