Mr. Oreoluwa Ademola-Popoola
Oreoluwa Ademola-Popoola is a 4th year medical student at the University of Ibadan. He is currently the Administrator (Scientific Research) of The Panacea Project through which he hopes to contribute and effect positive change to the Nigerian story and African society. He is a strong advocate for a political awakening amongst Nigerian youth, encouraging involvement and active participation. He is currently a 2-term elected senator in the hallowed Senate of the University of Ibadan Medical Students’ Association (UIMSA), serving and representing his constituency with unflinching resolve and integrity. He is a co-founder and the Director of the Classical Theatre Group – Shakespeare Acting Group Extraordinaire (SAGE). He has volunteered for numerous medical outreaches including: the Tunde and Friends Medical Outreach and the Community Health Awareness Programs (CHAPs) – which are organized by the University of Ibadan Medical Students’ Association (UIMSA) – on multiple occasions. He is an avid reader of classical and modern novels; a keen follower of international and local news and he consumes a fair load of football news as well. He is a lover of poetry, having penned a decent number himself and he is a Shakespeare enthusiast.
